Figured dimensions should be taken instead of scaled dimensions. 3) The dimensions and plans are based on survey data received from the Executive Engineer, P.W.Diviosn,Dhule vide letters. a) Letter No. 5224 /2015 dated 7-7-2015 4) The clear carriageway width is 7.50 metre unless stated otherwise. The clear carriageway width shall be measured in the direction perpendicular to the direction of traffic. 5) Before starting execution, a working cross section at the site shall be taken by precision survey and abutment & pier positions shown on technically sanctioned drawings shall be verified on site. In case of any discrepancy or doubt, clarification shall be obtained from the concerned Authorities before hand. 6) Angle of skew reported is 25 degree. The piers and abutments shall be oriented parallel to the direction of flow at site and discrepancy,if any, shall be reported to the Designs Circle before hand. 7) The foundation levels shown on the drawing are based on the bore data submitted by the Executive Engineer,P.W. Division,Dhule. 8) The bridge is designed for 1 lane of Class 70 R or 2 lanes of class A IRC loading whichever produces the worst effects. 9) Bridge has been designed for seismic zone III with importance Factor = 1.0 10) The appropriate seismic arresters shall be provided as per the provisions of IRC:6 - 2010. 11) The foundation of solid returns shall be taken at least 0.15 m below hard rock or 0.5m below soft or exposed rock whichever is deeper. 12) The backfill behind the abutments and the returns is assumed to have following properties. a) Angle of internal friction : 30 degree. b) Dry density : 1.8 t/cum. c) saturated density : 2.0 t/cum. 13) There shall be clear gap in kerbs and in parapets and gap in railings at a) joint of box return and Riding return b) all expansion joints 14) Adequate weep holes shall be provided in the abutment, riding return, Box/solid returns at spacing not more than 2000 mm c/c horizontally and 1000 mm vertically, regularly staggered. The weep holes shall be provided upto surface which will be permanenetly exposed. 15) The exposure conditions for durability has been considered as " Moderate" 16) Buoyancy has been considered as 100% for rock. 17) Navigational clearances has not been considered asproposed by the EE,P.W., Division , Dhule 18) No barge impact has been considered in the proposal. 19) The drawing shall be read along with the Technical Note. 20) C.D. works in approaches shall be dealt suitably. 21) Rubble pitchig shall be done upto upto 0.3m above the maximum anticipated water level 22) The drawing is for ESTIMATION PURPOSE ONLY.
