Notes: This is a numerical finite-element-like solver using Euler-Bernoulli beam elements with nonlinear p–y springs at nodes. The soil p–y law used is a smooth hyperbolic-type curve that saturates at a user-estimated ultimate resistance. Axial load influences bending stiffness approximately (global slenderness reduction).
